The FC Euroatlas is glad to announce the contract renewal with the coach Nuno Vaz for one more season.

Despite of the relegation in the end of the last season and the pressure from the entire press, that was already “kicking” him out of the club, a voting trust is revived to the coach by the board.

We can read on the board’s communication to the supporters: ”Nuno has been doing a fantastic job since taking up the position some years ago and the result of his dedication is in front of everybody. With him. the club managed to reach the highest division again, after several years of absence. It’s true that the last season was not a famous one, but no one was expecting it to be easy. We didn’t reach the main objective that was the maintenance, but each one of us shares the responsibility on it…”.

This voting trust was well received also by the team. Some of the players express already their support and admiration by Nuno, expecting him to continue in the club for several years: “Nuno managed to build a team that plays together, fights together… A team that celebrates the victories and cries the defeats together! There is much more in football than just win matches… Nuno is our coach!”
